About Us

Welcome to our campus page. We’re glad you are here. We’re grateful you took the time to visit, and hope to see you soon at our weekend service. The Church is more than an event or a building, we are the body of Christ. Our church is made up of flawed, broken, imperfect humans who require grace daily. On our own we are hopeless; through the mercy, love and sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ, we have found a Great Hope.

You may have noticed that our church has multiple locations. While each campus has its own unique characteristics, The Chapel is one church with a single desire: We are committed to seeing every person believing in Jesus, belonging to family, becoming a disciple, and building his kingdom. We want to invite you to come see this in action and join us in sharing the love of Christ.

As of August 30, 2020, our campus in Nordonia will be streaming weekly services online.  While is not our intention to always remain an online campus, we are excited for the opportunity to minister digitally during this phase of our church. If you are interested in more information about our campus or are curious about being a committed member of our launch team, contact our campus pastor Chase Jones for more information.

Why Nordonia?

Small Groups

Adult small groups are how we as a church actively practice lives centered on Jesus Christ, shared in community. Our groups are full of imperfect people seeking to grow in how we might serve and love each other. In the face of frequent rejection, Christ modeled for us what it looks like to consider others over ourselves. We aim to follow his lead. Much like the early church, we devote our small group time together to teaching, fellowship, service, and prayer.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13: 1-3

We believe the Bible clearly teaches that the family unit - especially parents - is the primary source and center for discipleship in the lives of children and teens. We also believe the Bible is equally clear that it is the role of the Church body to come alongside parents in this pursuit and help them in the disciple-making process.

While the discipling looks different whether your child is a new-born in the Nursery or a 12th grader preparing to graduate, the mission we cultivate in our next generation is the same at every age: to bring glory to God by believing in Jesus, belonging to His family, becoming His disciple, and building His kingdom.

Adults

Community at The Chapel happens primarily through small groups.

Though each group looks a little different, our hope in meeting together is always that we grow in friendship, prayer, accountability, care, and elevating each other in love. Our heart for gospel community flows out of the four B’s in our mission: believing, belonging, becoming, and building.
