Jesus says that our love will be what identifies us as His disciples (John 13:35). As passionately as we seek to be ambassadors of God’s love and redemption across the globe, our desire is to be just as passionate about love and redemption in our own city.
We seek to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors by meeting them where they are at. Sometimes this means meeting basic needs like food donations, physical assistance to those who require it, and even partnering with the local Emergency Assistance Center to provide care in our community. Other times it means volunteering in after school programs for elementary youth in Nordonia alongside Youth for Christ. And other times still it means promoting connection, play, and community through sports and activities. The common heartbeat through it all is love - for the glory of God.
At Nordonia, each of our adult small groups takes special intention and time to provide care and outreach to their neighborhoods.
Youth for Christ
We partner with Youth for Christ in Nordonia. Specifically, we help out with an after-school program at Lee Eaton Elementary School every Monday afternoon during the school year.
We have a softball ministry in Bedford that takes place in the summer and the fall. We also partner with a global soccer ministry organization called Ambassadors FC.
Need’s Based Ministry
At Nordonia, we also partner with the Emergency Assistance Center in Nordonia. We help serve food and provide physical assistance with those who need it on our community service days.
“We want to be a multiethnic, multigenerational, gospel-centered church that’s in the
Nordonia community and for the Nordonia community.”
