FINANCE DIRECTOR - Central
Due to a planned retirement, The Chapel is currently seeking a Director of Finance. This position reports to the Senior Pastor, working directly with the Executive Pastor and will work with Senior Leadership, Trustees, as well as Central and Campus Executive Leaders.
The Director of Finance will give comprehensive oversight for the entire organization in all matters of finance and legal. This position is also a “dual role” in that there is accountability to the Senior Team (staff) as the CFO, but also to the Board of Trustees as the organization’s Treasurer. This dual accountability allows for protection of the Director to fulfill their duties to guard the financial health and integrity of The Chapel. While the vast majority of the responsibilities are directly in the realm of finance, HR, Stewardship, and Central IT are also departments that report up to the Director of Finance.

ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR - Central
The Chapel is currently seeking an Assistant Finance Director. The Assistant Finance Director serves at the discretion of the Director of Finance and is responsible for the accounting operations of The Chapel. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and comprehensive sets of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance accuracy of reported financial results and to ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The Assistant Finance Director also takes the lead role in The Chapel’s annual audit.
Strong leadership ability is essential in this role as are excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. Proven experience with management and financial reporting is preferred.
Interested candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance (MBA preferred) along with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
